Here is one more recipe to add to your “go to game day appetizer list”! You might be wondering what could be so astounding, wonderful and delicious about Pigs in a Blanket? Well, allow me to put your questioning curiosity to rest!
First off, this is a crowd pleaser, which of course includes the kiddos. You don’t have to make something additional for the little people who have strong opinions about the food they partake in. 😉 One of the options is the Classic Pigs in a Blanket, which you can’t go wrong with for any age group.
The second option has smoky Gouda cheese, apples and whole grain mustard. This one is the crowd favorite in my house! The third option is sharp cheddar cheese with pickled jalapenos. I’m partial but I really like using my Easy Pickled Jalapenos with this recipe.
Serve them with regular ketchup, spicy mustard, whole grain mustard, ketchup mixed together with sriracha, or whatever sounds superb at the time! Cheers to football games and pigs in a blanket!
